Cineswipe started as a small side project — a way for me to learn, code, and challenge myself with a problem I personally felt every day: finding what to watch shouldn’t be so hard.
But the deeper I built, the more I realized this wasn’t just my problem — it’s everyone’s. Every day, millions of people scroll endlessly, overwhelmed by choices. Cineswipe was born to simplify that moment — to make discovering and tracking movies and TV shows feel human, not mechanical.
So, one feature at a time, Cineswipe began to take shape — from discovery to listing, from listing to tracking, from tracking to insights about your watching habits. It wasn’t built overnight. It’s been over a year of learning, testing, failing, and hundreds of sleepless nights trying to make something that genuinely solves a problem.
